Backstory

I am no stranger to assumptions. So please, before you judge me get to know me.
Being a Black in Slytherin comes with many automatic assumptions. But if you take the time to get to know me, I am of no relation to the known wizarding Black family.
My mother is a pureblood witch, Aradora Snowden, my father halfblood, Theodore Black. Naturally my mother was so weary about my father's surname, my parents even considered giving me my mother's surname instead, to save me the trouble. But, we know our defences stand strong that my grandfather was a Muggle, and that is enough proof to share that we are not related to the Black family.
I'm not one to fight the assumptions though, if this explanation is not enough, I will not push further, it is really not my problem if you cannot get over my name. So, enjoy that burden.
On the outside, you would not think of me as a Slytherin, but as the Muggles say, don't judge a book by its cover.
