Backstory

Upon completion of my seventh year at Hogwarts, I entered the workforce as a Ministry of Magic Junior Secretary in the Department of Magical Education. Having valued my time at Hogwarts, I wished to continue expanding my horizons and applying my love of learning as a Ministry employee. I worked my way up the ladder within the Magical Education Department and paid my dues in the Ministry, becoming Department Head for the Ministry Magical Education Liaison, overseeing the daily workings of the Department of Education whilst the Liaison worked closely with the Hogwarts Headmistress to ensure continuity between the esteemed School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and the Ministry. I became the current Ministry of Magic Education Liaison when Prof. Phoebus Penrose retired at the start of the year. It is my responsibility as Ministry Magical Education Liaison to review all coursework offered at Hogwarts and assure that it not only meets Ministry standards, but also ensures that all students who pass through the hallowed halls of my alma mater receive the best magical education possible.
