Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts letter I was ecstatic. Being a half-blooded witch, there was always a chance I wouldn't get it, so the letter came with relief and excitement! My parents took me to Diagon Alley immediately where I got my wand- on the third try. Poor Ollivander- I hope he's good at cleaning his shop. My new wand is made of elder wood with a unicorn hair core. It's 12 and a half inches, and feels amazing to use. As I started my student career as a Ravenclaw (like my mother), I realized almost immediately that I was skilled in attacking and defensive spells. This made me start thinking about job prospects, and I figured out that I want to be an Auror. Now I'm training harder than ever. I recently got my Patronus- an owl, while my Animagus form is a cat. (don't worry- I'm registered) Although I sort of fit in with the other students, there's always a part of me that just wants to hide in the corner with a book and hopes that the others don't find out about my secrets.
