Backstory

As a 1st year, I have to admit that being in this castle is still surreal for me at times. Coming to Hogwarts was a dream come true. I'm a half blood - my dad is a wizard and mum's a muggle. We live on the outskirts of a muggle village, so we can still be close to my mum's family and thus my world has always been a little divided. My older brother attended Hogwarts (he is now graduated and working as a potioneer for the Ministry), but my magic abilities didn't really manifest until I was around 6, so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get into Hogwarts. And then when I did get in, I was worried that the Sorting Hat would say I was a fraud, and chuck me right back to my little village. My dream is to work as a Healer, especially in experimental charms, working to cure people with permanent magical damage. I love playing Quidditch, and reading every book I can get my hands on in the Hogwarts library.
