Backstory

I'm a 1st year Ravenclaw student and I am 11 years old. When I first got my letter it actually came from a school in Japan because that was where I was born. However, even being born in Japan my mother is of Japanese-American descent. My father was born in America but came to Japan as a foreign exchange student where he met my mother. They are both pure bloods but it took a while for their families to accept their marriage. When their marriage was accepted their families started fighting over which school I am to go to. In Japan there are actually two rival schools but only one was looking to accept me. My parents didn't like this and therefore ran away with me to here. We are all looking for a fresh start and I wasn't surprised when I got my letter from Hogwarts. I was actually happy because no one would know who I was at this school and maybe all of the drama will be left behind. I like herbology, potions, and transfiguration. I am not so good with astronomy only because I have nightmares about the deep cold outer space. Charms, defense against the dark arts, and history of magic I am okay with. I am still not sure what I want to aspire to. To be honest my interests are caught between a healer and becoming an expert about spells. My parents have simple jobs. My mother is a historian who likes to record people's lives and events. My father owns an apothecary, tea shop, and brewery. I don't understand how he could mix all three together so don't even ask me.
