Backstory

My name is Makenzie Gallagher but I go by Kenzie; both my parents died in a car accident and I've lived in foster homes since then. I received my Hogwarts acceptance letter in the mail. Apparently I'm a pureblood, whatever that is, and I'm a wizard. When I got to Hogwarts I was slowly sorted into Slytherin. Just like my father, my mother was sorted into Gryffindor and the hat had a hard time put me in the right house.
