Backstory
I may, possibly, be the youngest muggleborn Quidditch player ever to play professionally. I'm just 13 years old, in my 3rd year at Hogwarts, and I play as a chaser for both the Ballycastle Bats, the team I've supported for as long as I can remember, and for the American National Quidditch Team. Trust me, I was just as surprised as you are now when I received the offer. And now, once the shock has settled in, you're probably wondering how I've achieved so much Quidditch-wise, when I'm a muggleborn. Well, I'm adopted. My pureblood parents adopted me and my two older brothers, Holland and Emery, and one younger brother, Peyton, from the same muggle orphanage when we were babies. Through some stroke of luck, or maybe even magic, we all turned out to have magic coursing through our veins, and grew up as such. I've, in truth, been playing Quidditch with my brothers since I was around 2. Most people only want to talk to be about Quidditch and "How hard it must be to balance school and Quidditch!" and "How my family must be oh-so-proud of me!", but I'd rather tell you about the other parts of my life. I'm, surprise surprise, a Slytherin. It didn't shock many people, least of all me, when, seconds after the Sorting Hat was rested upon my head, "Slytherin!" could be heard vibrating throughout the room. On par with my Slytherin ambition, I excel in my studies, receiving top marks in my year. Hoping this trend will continue, I also aim to be a Prefect and, eventually, Head Girl in the future. Almost everyone assumes, even after I complete my education, that I'll continue my professional Quidditch career, and they would be correct. What I'll do after retiring from Quidditch is, however, a mystery to me. I do have an interest in pursuing a career as either a potioneer or member of the Wizengamot. You might be reading all this and saying "What a Mary Sue!" but, trust me, I've got skeletons in my closet.
