Backstory

You can call me Nessie, I use they/them pronouns. I have never known life without water. From the deepest oceans to the smallest of streams, I have always felt most at home near the water. At least, that was until my letter to Hogwarts arrived. It sure was a surprise when an owl landed on the stern of my boat. Surprise quickly turned into glee when we learned about my magical abilities. We practically ran the boat all the way into the Leaky Cauldron. Being on land for so long wasn't the greatest, but I'm adapting well. The friendly badgers of Hufflepuff are making sure of that. My land legs are starting to come in and good thing, they come in handy navigating this gorgeous castle. However, I'm always itching to get to the shores of the Black Lake. Do you hear the lovely voices coming from the lake? I wonder who they could be...
