Backstory

Azalea Banks arrived at Hogwarts as a muggleborn from a cruel mother, Hogwarts was a dream. After a surprisingly long pause, the hat said Ravenclaw and she proved that choice by acing all her classes at first. As the years went, her interest in other subjects but Care for Magical Creatures, Charms, and Defense Against the Dark Arts (for its creatures). Although not directly being there when Voldemort took power and died, the consequences were large still at Hogwarts during her attendance. Children broke out into tears in the hallways, many professors were new, and much of the school was damaged physically and in memory. She spent most of her time in Hogwarts comforting others, using magical creatures as comfort, and exploring everywhere she could. She made friends with the centaurs in the forest and Hagrid and his myriad of creatures. Many saw her as an odd bird, but they typically left her alone because of her sharp tongue. After Graduation many of her peers went on and did amazing things, but without financial stability she got a job as an apprentice at the Magical Menagerie, working closely with the owner to expand her Magical Creature expertise and save money until she can find what career she belongs working with creatures or wizards.
