Backstory

Born to a muggle father, I knew I was always different than the other children because of the strange things that would happen around me growing up . It wasn't until many years after her passing...but I discovered that my mother was a rather skilled witch. She never revealed her abilities to me or my siblings, but somehow I knew. During those dark times, brought on by he-who-must-not-be-named, my mother hid herself in the muggle world...living in hiding from the dark lord and his desire to possibly gain her as a death eater (she was a master charms specialist...so good, that she could perform a charm, and it's trace could never be detected, even by the wisest of witches and wizards). She hid her talent and past away...hoping to live a normal life with a muggle husband and raise a family. Even when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, she refused to use magic to heal herself out of fear that it may draw attention to her loving family.
It was only after she passed away, that certain people from the wizarding world began to make themselves known to me, and helped me find my way to Hogwarts. Against the advice of the headmaster, I began my wizarding education at the late age of 16, often attending classes with wizards and witches much younger than myself.
