Backstory

I am a Gryffindor, and I was sorted into that house because I have a passionate curiosity and I seek adventure, and it chose immediately. I enjoy Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions. I dislike Charms and Transfigurations. I am good at Herbology but do not enjoy it. I am a Half-Blood; my mother is a witch and my father is not. My blood purity does not come up often, but when it does, it is a struggle. I am a Sicilian American witch, raised in the U.S.. My greatest strength is that I have a good heart and I want to do right no matter what. Sometimes, in my desire to do right, I am not practical, and my naive nature sometimes makes me useless. I hope to be the greatest witch-writer in the world, transcribing adventures. I think magic is fascinating because there is such way it can be good, and such a way it can be evil. I want to use magic to help others. If I am honest, my desires to write are much more fueled by my fear of death than I would like to admit, especially to myself. I want to be immortal. I have a lovebirds named Antonietta and Marcello. I might have a twin sister/brother. It is a mystery; I cannot find records or pictures but every now and again, I hear my grandfather mention another...
