Emily Weasley

Backstory

I was sorted into Gryffindor, the Sorting Hat wanted to put me in Ravenclaw, but eventually, after a while, decided upon putting me in Gryffindor. I love Charms class and Transfiguration, and I also enjoy Defense Against the Dark Arts. I never liked Divination, and never took it again after I finished my mandatory year of it. I'm quite good at Herbology and Potions, but never really grew a fondness for them. I am a half-blood, my parents are Hermione and Ron Weasley. I'm very book smart, my friends and family tell me I'm a lot like my mother, so I hope my marks at Hogwarts are the same as those at muggle schools, and that I can stay top of my class. I do find that I am too critical of myself, which can sometimes hold me back from doing things I might find enjoyable if I'm not the best at them. After finishing school at Hogwarts I hope to teach here, and maybe be the Head of Gryffindor house like Professor McGonagall, or maybe work in the Ministry of Magic. I would also like to be a writer hopefully, and if I can fulfill that dream, then I would be less likely to take a teaching job at Hogwarts.
