Backstory

I was sorted into Ravenclaw House, I believe, because I favor the impractical and creative. I do remember being called a hatstall because the Sorting Hat spent a good ten minutes deciding on whether or not I should be placed in Hufflepuff, or of course, Ravenclaw… and then I drifted off at the last minute. Which I think could have been the moment when it was decided
I found that I really loved Care of Magical Creatures and learning more about them. Defense Against the Dark Arts seemed like a must for me and my particular skill set... but I can say that I wholeheartedly enjoyed it.
I am a half-blood. It has indeed affected my life in the Wizarding World, simply because I am more human than people would think, given my nature and source of abilities.
Outside of my magical life, I am a trained dancer, specifically in the technical aspects of the art. Contemporary is my forte, but traditional ballet is my backbone. But every once in a while, when I don't feel like staying aligned and on my toes, I dabble around in hip hop.
I have a raven who I have named Nevermore...and unfortunately, he is not among the creatures permitted as Hogwarts familiars. However, Nevermore is extremely loyal to specifically me in a way that almost disqualifies him as a simple PET. He's more of a close companion and a true friend, in all honesty, because he actually understands what I tell him and he comes if he senses something wrong.
My older twin brother, Avery, is nearly identical in appearance to me, despite being my brother. He is...um, WAS my best friend until we grew older and then grew apart... his mind wanders to places mine never has. And I fear that one day, I might lose him to a place I don't think I can follow him...
