Backstory

I was sorted into Slytherin immediately as I knew where I wanted to be and would make sure I was there and I belong to a powerful pureblood family. I like potions and transfiguration best because they aren't as strict as other lessons like charms- you can have your own way of a recipe and still come out with the perfect finished product. I don't hate any of the lessons, not really, but I like Divination and Care of Magical Creatures, but I wouldn't pursue them career wise. I do well in all my lessons, but not by necessarily following orders directly. I grew up in Asia and so my family was not involved with You-Know-Who in any way, and I was homeschooled. My greatest strength is my greatest weakness. Closing everyone out except for the people closest to me, and even then I'm cold and distant if I don't trust you. After school, I think I'd like to go into Healing or have a potions shop. I think I've been expected to go into the Ministry- but let's be honest that's idiotic because I would both hate it and it's corrupt. Because while yes, I could bring greater change, I don't want to be miserable whilst doing that. And either way I can always buy my opinion in given the vault size. I'm in love with the way you can change something- even temporarily, or how you can put together ingredients and hurt, kill or bring someone back from near death by changing a few ingredients or your technique. I want to create a reputation for myself as someone who can help you, but shouldn't be crossed so I guess, in a way, I want to both enhance my reputation and help others. I know what I really want is to move to a cottage and just. Stay there with a few pets and a partner and to be honest, I have enough money to make that happen but it would damage the family name. I have a pet cat. Not a Kneazle but just a regular cat because it's coat and pedigree were too beautiful to resist and it gives me comfort. At home I have two dogs but I barely see them now and I miss them most days.
