Charlotte Queen

Backstory

Hello, my name is Charlotte Talia Queen and I‘m a Ravenclaw student in my first year at Hogwarts. I am an introverted, sarcastic, creative and hard working witch. My mom is a muggle and my dad a squib, but although my parents are both muggles, I come from a family of wizards. Both of my grandparents and my aunts and uncles, as well as my cousins are wizards, so I am well acquainted with the wizarding world. My cousin Marlene Rome Queen is also a year one student in Hogwarts (she’s a Hufflepuff). We basically grew up together, so I consider her my sister even though biologically we are just cousins. She’s a pureblood. I also have an aunt that lives in France and spoils us with sweets everytime she visits us. Her kids attend Beauxbattons, but we don’t get to see them as often as we’d like because of the distance. At first my parents refused to send me to Hogwarts but they eventually gave in when my grandparents and my uncle (Marlene‘s dad) took my side. They refused to buy my school supplies, so my grandma took me to Diagon Alley and payed for everything. I love my parents though, they are just worried and overprotective, that’s all. I snug my way into tryouts for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team by pretending i was a second grader, got accepted but was quickly found out. We lost house points for it but because of my skills the Headmistress allowed me to be a substitute player for the position of the chaser next year and I hope I will me able to become a regular player in year three. However it is not my long term goal to become a professional player. I am aspiring to become an Auror but i am unsure if I will be able to fulfill all the requirements for it. I am a true book worm, I always have a book with me. But besides reading i really enjoy writing too, especially poems and stories. It is also a dream of mine to own a shop in Diagon Alley, so we‘ll see what life throws my way. I still have a lot to learn but that’s okay.
