Born in Oxfordshire, England, Stel took a liking to magical creatures at a young age. He was an only child of Crysanthia, the fourth Black sister, former Magizoologist and a Pureblood Ravenclaw, and Retlicus, the third Lestrange brother, Head of Magical Law Enforcement and a Slytherin. His parents were part of the Lestrange and Black families, respectively, and a problem that came from being in those families was pure-blood supremacy. His father wanted the Black family to continue the Black legacy, thus named him Steluvius. Stel was taught non-verbal spells when he was 4, courtesy of his mother, and could fly a broomstick perfectly by his 6th birthday. His mother was sure he would be a Ravenclaw, but his father said the otherwise, proposing him for Slytherin. A major event in Stel’s life was when he was 8, a Runespoor wandered into his house. His father got ready to kill it, but his mother defended it. They took it as a pet, something they’re pet wolf, Rocky wasn’t pleased off. Stel and the Runespoor struck up a friendship quick, and he was able to understand it even though he didn’t speak parseltongue. His father bought him a magizoologist suitcase, something supplied by the Ministry, on his 9th birthday, and gifted him some Occamies. Stel was so happy that he invited some of his friends over, and they all changed it to different enclosures and even built a clubhouse in. He spent an awful lot of time in his case, especially researching about Thestrals, dragons and Serpents. On his 11th birthday, Stel rose earlier than an owl and checked his window. He almost fell off the window in excitement when he saw an owl flying towards his house, clutching a package with its talons. He almost missed the Hogwarts Express on September 1st but managed to get in at the last minute. Stel was annoyed on the train, as half the people there knew him, and one quarter were his relatives. Stel couldn’t contain his excitement when they reached Hogwarts, and was the first one to get out the train and into the boats. Most of his cousins were sorted into Slytherin in almost a minute, not to the surprise of anyone else, but Stel was probably the longest Hatstall of the century. When the Sorting Hat was placed on his head, it took 10 minutes to decide a house for him. Stel and the hat argued back and forth for a long time, the hat trying to put him in Ravenclaw, as it claimed Slytherins become Death eaters. Finally, Stel pulled it off his head and said threateningly, “If you ever say Slytherins are all Death Eaters, I’ll light you on fire before you can say “Gryffindor!”.”, which led to him having a reputation for being the only student to do that. He was finally placed in Slytherin, much to his family’s pleasure, and McGonnagal allowed him to bring his suitcase to school. Stel eventually became famous for the creatures he had rescued over the years, and his long-standing position of Slytherin Seeker since his 1st year.
