Backstory

My letter got very lost, so I am a first-year at 19. I don't know where the owl went so wrong but apparently, it got lost and I only just got my letter. My friends got their letters when they should and it disappointed me when I kept waiting for mine, ultimately I gave up the idea of going to Hogwarts that was until that one amazing day when the owl flew into my room and dropped the letter on my bed. So now I am an older first-year student ready to take the plunge into everything Hogwarts. I am excited to learn, make new friends and play quidditch, my mum was on the Gryffindor quidditch team for many years and I am ready to follow in her footsteps.

My mum is a witch and I have no idea what my dad is, my parents got together one drunken night and my mum never saw my dad again, I believe I am a half-blood. My mum went to Hogwarts at the same time as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley and became good friends with them. I had a lot of influence from them growing up and loved listening to their stories about their childhood. Hermione taught me some magic as I was growing up and everyone was waiting for me to get my letter that didn't arrive for many years.
