Backstory

I was sorted into Ravenclaw; Witty, Clever, Intelligent, and well...unique. I tend to be quiet, lest you get to know me, then I become a whole other person, trust me. I do exceptionally well in schooling, and I’ve a knack for solving mysteries. I especially love the arts, like potion making, divination, the whole lot. I tend to be a little...odd. I’m willing to try just about anything, even if it seems ridiculous. I was sorted quite quickly, actually, even though I was quite nervous. It seems like yesterday when I felt the weight of the sorting hat before hearing “Ravenclaw!” echo through the great hall. My favorite classes are the Defense Against the Dark Arts, Care for Magical Creatures, Potions, and Divination. Charms is quite difficult for me because it is a lot of spells to remember. Herbology is fun, except I can never tell the bloody difference between plants. I’m a pureblood, though my family is not quite well known. My mother is an Auror, and my father works for the Department of Muggle Affairs at the Ministry. Since I’m a pureblood, nobody really cares for me, but I’ve had many friends be bullied for being a half-blood. I was only a baby when He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named rose to power, so I don’t remember much. My parents refuse to say much more than ‘they were bloody mad times, mad times’. I’ll have to research more about it. I’d say my greatest strength in my knowledge and compassion. I can also be bold at times, like petitioning for better accommodations for Owls. My greatest weakness is being too trusting. If people talk to me at all, I tend to trust them, which has gotten me into more than a few squanders. What are you looking to do after you finish school? When I finish school, I want to be either in the Ministry of Magic’s Department of Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures or a Dragonologist. I feel the most fascinating aspect of magic being able to research things further than just ‘science’ as the muggles call it. I will always want to help others with magic, and I wouldn’t ever abuse it’s power. I have two pets of my own. I have a ball python named Sphinx; she’s very sleepy most of the time, but she’s also quite inquisitive. I also have a Tawny Owl named Fredrick, and he’s quite active and energetic. One would say he’s quite the character. My wand is Chestnut wood, hard flexibility, 14 1/2 inches, with a Unicorn hair core. I am excited to continue my schooling at Hogwarts!
