Backstory

(Younger Student) When I received my Hogwarts Letter that faithful day, I didn’t know what it would mean. At first I thought it was a mistake, ya know? My brother, Draco Malfoy, sometimes played pranks on me, or blamed me when he ruined something because my magic is defective. How could I be accepted into the best school for wizards and witches? Anyway, my parents were going to go shopping in London anyway and they figured they would go pick up my supplies as well. Boy, the look on their face when we stopped by the “The Leaky Cauldron” and I waved at people! My father hissed in my ear,“Malfoy's don’t wave to people beneath them. In fact, they don’t wave at all.” The innkeeper was an odd but friendly man, and there were some people bowing at us. The coolest part of Diagon Alley was picking up Potions gear. I just love potions! I might finish with “Basics of Potion-Making Volume 1” before school even starts.
