Backstory

(Younger Student) I remember the day like it was yesterday. I wanted to be a wizard more than anything! I was always making up my own spells, and practicing them on my parents. Sometimes things would get a little out of hand, but no one ever got hurt; well except for this cricket I kept in my room, but he flipped right back over, so I knew he was fine. Anywho, the day I got my letter was like no other day. It was a bright Saturday afternoon. My mom just made her delicious french toast, with blueberry topping, and powdered sugar on top! Just thinking about it is making my mouth water! Now, where was I... oh right, so the family and I were sitting at the table eating breakfast when we heard a knock at the door. My mom went to go see who it was. She came back with an envelope that was addressed to me! Now the front of the envelope looked like any other, but the back of it had the red waxy seal with the school logo imprinted on it! I knew what that meant, I knew that inside this envelope was something that could change my life forever. My family could see the excitement on my face. I opened the envelope and pulled out the letter. I read it, and it said I had been accepted into Hogwarts! I was beyond the moon excited. I ran upstairs and started packing my bags, and I knew in that moment I was going to work hard and be the best wizard I could be!
