Backstory

Growing up, magic wasn't as prevalent in my house as it was for some of my friends; While both of my parents work in the Ministry, my father uses magic at home mainly for his art projects, and my mother utilizes her skills at arithmancy whenever she can. Where some of my friends had a house-elf or spells cooking and cleaning for them, we usually did it the muggle way- not that there's anything bad about either way! My parents are both half-bloods, and my when in school my mother was a Gryffindor and My father was a Hufflepuff. Both of my parents assumed I was going to be a Hufflepuff, and while they assured me if I wasn't that was okay, they were right! While adventures are fun, I like to first focus on learning magic and exploring all of its possibilities. You can probably find me either completing my coursework alone or with my friends in either the common-room, library or in the great hall.

Also, you may be wondering why my name is Magnet; Well actual first name is Magnetta, but I prefer to shorten it to Magnet or just Mag, everyone does anyway! My birthday is July 7th, and my wand is Ebony wood with a Dragon Heartstring core, 12 3/4 inches! My Patronus is a White Swan!
