So you want to know about me?

Let's see... where to start...

My name is Vivian. Vivian Edwards. A pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Now I know what you are thinking, "Isn't Vivian a Girls name?" and you would not completely incorrect in that observation. Vivian is more commonly used to name females these days, but originally, it was males who held the name back in the Victorian Era. But I digress. While that is one reason why you would not be incorrect, the other is the fact that I am a Metamorphmagus. Now for those who are unwise to what a Metamorphmagus is, allow me to explain.
A Metamorphmagus is a witch or wizard with this rather unique and rare ability that allows them to alter their physical forms without the use of the various magical form changing stimuli, for example, Polyjuice Potion or Transfiguration spells. Now I understand you maybe be confused, how does this relate to the name Vivian? Well, truth be told. I live both as a male and a female. So as you can see, the name Vivian works rather well for me. Now I know that may sound impossible, but I can assure you. It will make more sense as you read on.

So let's talk about my family.

My Family is Pure-Blooded. But do not align me with those who'd believe in the concept of blood status. I am the youngest of three children and the only male out of the three of us. My siblings are both exceptional in their fields of work. One of my Sisters, the eldest of the three of us, is a Chaser for the English National Quidditch team. While my other Sister, who is only a few years older than me, is working toward becoming a Ministry witch. However, she is still undecided on which department despite getting E's in a few choice NEWT subjects. My Mother works in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes as an Oblviator, while my father works in the same department under the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee. My father is quite intuitive with coming up with excuses. According to mother, he was a bit of a troublemaker at school and would somehow get out of trouble quite regularly making up one excuse or another. so the job seemed perfect for him.
As for my mother, her memory charm work, as well as her memory itself, was always quite exceptional. I can't begin to count the number of times we may have forgotten something and without missing a beat, she'd recall what it was.
As for me, I'm still at Hogwarts. A Ravenclaw student in my 6th year. Surprisingly enough, not all of my family have been in Ravenclaw. My father was a Slytherin. My eldest sister, a Gryffindor. My other sister, a Hufflepuff.
That's about it for my family.

So, Now let's talk about me.
I am like your stereotypical Ravenclaw. Always partaking in something intellectually based when I'm not in class. I have a heated interest in Potions. (Forgive the pun.) I find the ability to combine various materials to make something wonderous quite fascinating. So naturally, it's my best and favourite class. Charms, Herbology and Defence Against the Dark Arts are a few of the subjects I also enjoy. Herbology, more so than the others as it ties into Potions.

Going back to what I mentioned previously concerning living as both male and female coincides with me being a Metamophmagus. To keep things as simple as I can make them, as explained previously, Metamorphmagi can alter their physical forms without the use of the various magical form changing stimuli. These alterations range from minor change, for example, changing the colour of their hair to major changes, altering their physical age to a complete change in their biology. This is where I fall. I have quite an extensive control over the ability, however, there seems to be what I can only class as a defect in my biological code. It usually only occurred during sleep. I would go to sleep as a Male then wake up the next day as a Female. It was very confusing and worrying during my childhood. It has made creating and cultivating friendships with others to be quite difficult. However, as my experience with my ability has improved. The rate at which it occurs has significantly decreased. Almost to the point of non-existence. But most of the time. You will most likely see me taking on a feminine form as I feel it is the form that suits me the most.
