Backstory

Liv Otto - Student - Ravenclaw

a Calico Manx cat, her name is Nyx and she has a habit of stealing things from other students be it socks, quills, even someone's pet rat once (she, thankfully, didn't harm it).

- Bio -
Liv Otto was born April 13th, 2007, her family is Italian but they moved to England a year before she was born. She is a half-blood but because no one in her family really talks about her aunt's side she didn't find out until she was 9 years old, when she went on a trip to stay with them for the summer, this made the transition to the wizarding world a bit awkward seeing as she lived as a muggle for so long.

When she came to Hogwarts Liv was sorted into Ravenclaw due to her creativity and curiosity, though the sorting hat did mention she would fit in with Slytherin as well, due to this, sorting fell short of a hat stall by 1 minute.

While practically oblivious to current events and gossip (unless reminded of course) Liv is extremely knowledgable in obscure facts and random bits of knowledge. She makes a point of spouting a fact or two a day, referring to herself as a "talking encyclopedia" whether those actually exist in the wizarding world or not is beyond her.

As quiet and kind as she is, she has a surprisingly short temper, and will not tolerate people spreading false information, often causing very heated debates.

Liv is very interested in Potions and Herbology as she wants to open a magical cafe of sorts when she finishes school, her dream is to help people in the more overlooked parts of life such as simply helping someone out when they have a stressful day. To quote her, "A muffin infused with a calming drought or a cup of tea brewed with a cheering charm is exactly what some people need every once and a while, and I want to be able to provide that."
