Backstory

Just like most students, I received my letter to Hogwarts when I was 11. The thing is though, I was living in the United States where I also received an acceptance letter to Illvermorny. My mother is a half-blood from Dublin, Ireland and my father is a pure-blood from Virginia. I believe that those statuses have not caused much trouble for me as a half American because status has never really been an issue in the United States. I chose to go to Hogwarts to explore my mothers side of my family history and was very glad I decided to do so. I was sorted into the house of Ravenclaw, her alma mater. The hat went back and forth between Ravenclaw and Slytherin before making his final choice. It's hard to say what classes I enjoy the most since I love learning. I really enjoy magical history (not really the professor, though). My biggest strength is knowledge. Knowledge is power, and learning everything I could while in school has been my greatest feat. My greatest weakness would have to be my fear of failure. I am always striving to succeed, so I am always afraid for the day I fail. After I finished Hogwarts, I want to go into Magical Law. I think I could change a lot of legislation in the MoM for the better. They certainly need an overhaul. I have an owl who has accompanied me over the last few years here at Hogwarts. Her name is Hermes, named after the famous Hermione Granger. She has been a a wonderful companion on my lonely days where I miss my parents. My maternal grandparents are still in Ireland, so that's usually where I retreat during Winter Hols. One interesting fact is that I now have a mixed accent that my father says he "adores." Living in Scotland for the past few years has made me catch onto the dialect here. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my little introduction. See you around.
