Backstory
Upon leaving Hogwarts in 1930 I somehow managed to bag (blag) a job at the Daily Prophet covering Quidditch in the South West. Soon after, I became the Prophet's top Quidditch correspondent in England and was soon travelling the world covering European & World Cups in all sorts of far flung places. My first edition of my "Quidditching Almanack" reviewing the seasons league and cup results was published in 1946 and subsequent editions have been released every year since, selling over 1 million copies, including special editions.
Since retiring from the Prophet in 1987, I have continued writing about all things Quidditch, especially researching the wide-ranging history of the sport.
In 2002 I was awarded the Order of Merlin, Third Class.
