Backstory

I was sorted into the Hufflepuff House! Yay! All though I must that I was surprised by how quickly the Sorting Hat sorted me. He wasn't even touching my head! Of course, my mother wouldn't be surprised considering she was in Hufflepuff, too. I can see why she was placed in Hufflepuff and this gives me an even bigger opportunity to get closer with her! Wow, I wonder what it was like for my dad when he found out she was a witch? I'm going to have ask her when I get the chance! She always liked telling stories, especially when everyone, including my cat, were gathered around the fireplace, so I'm positive the story on how they met will be an incredible one. Hm, I should probably talk more about myself... well, my name is Elena Flowers and I like the color pink. I think my greatest strength is my ability to make friends with new people. I always try my best to stay positive, so I make sure everyone else is in a good mood as well by cracking a few jokes. A weakness of mine is that I can be a bit overly enthusiastic about things. I want to study plants and animals when I'm older cause they just really fascinate me. Magic I believe is something that should be used to help others. It's one of those things that never gets old, it takes your breath away every time you see it. I really want everyone to be kind and determined. I want them to never give up on their dreams. It's a dream my mom wants to see accomplished as well, so I'm sure that it can become a reality!
