Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts Letter, I was so excited. My older brother got in, but our parents are both muggles, so I wasn't completely certain I was a wizard. So my parents took me and my brother shopping to get our things for the upcoming school year. The look on their face when we stopped by the Barren Bulldog pub and the sign said “The Leaky Cauldron” was hysterical! The innkeeper was an odd but friendly man, and there were some people to help show us around. The coolest part of Diagon Alley was Ollivander's where my wand (a pear wood wand with a unicorn hair core) chose me. Or maybe my favorite part was picking out my cat. I picked a playful, adorable, tabby kitten and named him Hamilton. I love animals. I'm so looking forward to Care of Magical Creatures. I also think Potions, Charms, and Transfigurations will be fun classes. I really hope I'm good at flying, I've always wanted to be able to fly. When the sorting hat was put on my head, it took no more than ten seconds to declare me a Hufflepuff. I am one, through and through. Anyway, I love photography, although I don't know how much of that I'll be doing now, I love succulents and cats and chocolate and more chocolate! I have a lot of friends from my muggle school that I hope I can still stay in touch with, but I also hope I make lots of new friends here. I really hope my older brother isn't too mean to me, at least my first year.
