Backstory

I'm a first year Ravenclaw, and I'm ecstatic to be here. I was sorted into Ravenclaw relatively quickly, though there was a chance I could have been in Slytherin.
I'm a half-blood (Mom's a muggle, Dad's a wizard.) and three of my six younger siblings have shown signs of magic as well so far. I of course already knew I was a witch, but I was still ecstatic to receive my letter.
My brain's always been my biggest strength, but that also means I neglected other aspects of my life when I was younger because I just wanted to sit alone and read. (cough socializing cough)
When I finish school I want to go into muggle chemistry or math, and see if I can find away to discreetly boost muggle medicine, innovation, and advancement with a small amount of magic. Maybe then we would be able to prevent things like the coronavirus from becoming pandemics, but I also think it could fun.
Picking up my books and supplies was probably the best day of my life, and when we got my wand (Hornbeam Wood and Dragon heartstrings, 12 1/2 inches, hard) I thought I was going to explode. Most of my stuff got handed down from my Dad and cousins, but we're working on getting me an owl that I'll share with my siblings when they enter Hogwarts in the next few years.
