Backstory

I was beyond excited when I received my Hogwarts letter. Before, I was terrified I was a Squib because I was showing no magical signs and I thought I was going to be the first Muggle in my all wizard family. My parents thought they were going to have to go through the shame that came with having a Squib daughter. They would still love me of course bu you know how weird wizards are about Muggles. I showed my first magical sign when I was 10. My older brother who had already attended Hogwarts for two years was threatening to transfigure me into a frog. Even though I knew he wasn't allowed to practice magic outside of school I was still terrified! My brother is prone to breaking rules but so am I, I suppose. I was screaming and running around while he was chasing me and just as he was about to cast the spell, I suddenly appeared on the top of a book shelf in my house's mini library. My mother got me my own owl, she was so proud. I loved getting my first wand from Ollivanders and my wand immediately found me. It was Beech wood with a dragon heartstring core, 12 3/4" and reasonably supple flexibility. I I am looking forward to Transfiguration so that I can MY brother into a frog!
