Backstory

I was proudly sorted into Ravenclaw this year! The hat took some time deliberating between that and Hufflepuff but in the end, it could sense that Ravenclaw was where I wanted to be! The class I am most excited for is Potions! I know it gets a bad rep, but I feel like it would be like Muggle cooking and baking, which I enjoy greatly. I'm also excited to learn Charms and DADA. The class I'm scared to take is History, mostly because I'm bad at it and I heard the teacher makes you fall asleep! I am a Muggleborn! My ad works for a Muggle medical supply company and my mom used to teach Muggle kids. I haven't found a great deal of prejudice against Muggleborns, as I feel society is slowly becoming more accepting of differences, but I do feel like the President of the United States is a bit old-fashioned. My greatest strength is my highly analytical mind, which is also my greatest weakness. I also am a great leader, but I can procrastinate and be lazy sometimes. After school, I hope to follow in the footsteps of the great Hermione Granger and become Minister for Magic. I feel like I could do great things for the Wizarding community. I find magic especially interesting, coming from a Muggle family, and I think the cool thing is that it's so diverse. You have simple spells and charms, to evil curses, to jumping candies. I want to use magic mostly for good, although I might use it because I am lazy sometimes at home. I have a dog with my Muggle family, named June, and I have a snowy owl named Crookshanks, after the revered Hermione Granger's old cat. My family is pretty normal, although my brother and I fight a lot and my mom is sad she isn't magic like me.
