Backstory
(Dragonologist) Dragons are among the most dangerous and magical of creatures in the world, wizarding or otherwise. I was first intrigued by magical creatures when I was standing in Olivander's wand shop and he handed me a wand with a core of an Unicorn hair. Growing up in Canada to muggle parents, I always assumed that Unicorns and Dragons were just stuff of fairy tales, but when I heard I had my very own wand made with a unicorn hair from a very real unicorn, that's when it really felt real that I was a witch. We took an immediate liking to each other, and it has been my friend ever since. He has saved my life more than once, that’s for sure! I chose to go to Hogwarts instead of Ilvermorny after doing a bit of research on houses. First, it had been my dream since a young girl to live in England but I also liked how much longer Hogwarts was around. I then saw pictures of the castle and fell in love. I first experienced Dragons after befriending Hagrid whilst at Hogwarts. As I had a different accent from everyone, I wasn't very popular with the other kids when I first arrived but Hagrid was my very first friend and made me feel welcome. Once he saw my eyes light up when he talked about Dragons, the next day he gave me a book all about the different types & I've been obsessed ever since.Dragons come in a variety of temperaments, and while they can be persuaded to tolerate a Witch or Wizard’s presence, their mood can be quite the fickle thing. I came pretty close to being toasted once, but my partner warned me just in time and I was able to apparate away. I love my dragons, they are like my babies - even if they occasionally see me as a dinner!
