Kento was born in a Tokozowara City, Japan, to a Muggle mother and father. His father is a Japanese professor, working at a university near Tokozowara. His mother is also a college professor for muggles, despite proficient in magic. They met when Kento's mother was attending a muggle trade school in Japan. Kento is the eldest son of two children, both of whom having magical abilities as well. Since Kento's ancestors on his father's side can be traced back to samurai lineage, Kento quickly became skilled at martial arts, particularly Kendo (funny how that works out) and Kenjutsu. Since his father cannot be home sometimes for days, due to his work, and his mother is rarely home, Kento learned how to be self-sufficient, and to take care of his two younger siblings while adult help is not reachable. Kento almost always did well in school, having (thankfully) inherited his parents' intelligence.

Kento was invited to attend Hogwarts, much to his surprise, as his own instances of magic having happened very early in his life, and him already attending Mahoutokoro. Due to his distance from the U.K., Hogwarts had to provide financial support for Kento to attend since plane flights from London to Japan are expensive, and apparation is very dangerous. The Sorting Hat took a decent 30 seconds deciding which house to put Kento in between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, finally deciding on Ravenclaw, due to his inheriting his parent's intelligence.

Kento attends both Hogwarts and Mahoutokoro, having to attend either school during summer for the other school. While he enjoys magic, it is very difficult to juggle his time between the two schools. Nonetheless, he is happy attending both schools, and cannot wait for his younger siblings to begin attending school.

Kento is currently a first-year student attending Charms, Herbology, and Defense Against the Dark Arts, and is hoping to get on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team.
