Backstory:
Hi, my name is Adeline and I was born in Spain. I lived there all my life until suddenly I received the letter of Hogwarts.

I am named after my grandmother. She was born in a rich family in England and after marrying my grandfather, who had family in both countries, they moved to Spain where they have been living since.

After receiving my letter I found out my grams family, including her, were wizards, but after meeting my grandfather and moving to another country surrounded by muggles she started doing magic only in private. Then she had my father, who was a squib and decided to keep it a secret from him, using it only when she was alone or with my grandfather.

We talked about how nervous I was about moving to another country with a language I don't control well but she told me her years at Hogwarts were amazing, so I decided to forget about that and enjoy the experience.

We came to England together and she showed me everything from the magical world, accompanied me to Diagon Alley to buy all my school necessities and hug me on the train station.

And now I’m here, at Hogwarts. Saying goodbye to my family and friends was extremely difficult but being here is way better than I expected and I starting to realice my grams is right and this can be the best time of my life.
