Backstory

(Younger Student) When i first received my letter, i didn't know what to do. My mom is a Witch, but my father is a muggle. It should be easier because my father doesn't live with us anymore, but mom will have to find a great excuse for me disappearing from september to january. My mother told me about her amazing wizarding world when i was 8, and gave me a lot of book about a lot of things from that world since then, but i kinda stopped believing her when i was 10. What a surprise it was when i got the letter at my 11th birthday.
Anyway, she never told my father about all of this. She said i can chose either if i will tell him or not now. I don't know what to do yet, but plan to decide until the end of my first year.
We live in Brazil, and i should go to Castelobruxo, but my mom was a Hogwarts student, and she said there is no better place in the world than Hogwarts. She was a Gryffindor, but i think i want to be a Ravenclaw. I want to meet Ms. Helena Ravenclaw.
I'm a little nervous. I'm not so confident about my english, and i have never been anywhere outside of my own country. I hope i will make some friends.
