Backstory

(Younger Student) When I received my Hogwarts Letter, I couldn't have been more excited. I had been impatiently waiting for it since my mother passed away, every single day until then agonizingly long and boring. My father was ecstatic, praising me and saying how my mother would've been so proud. Once I got to Hogwarts, I was amazed. It didn't help that everything was so magnificent, or that I ended up in the same house my mother had been in. My father always tells me I look like her, and that I'm practically her carbon copy. Not just in looks, but in personality as well, like how I can never put a book down once I grab it. It doesn't surprise anyone I'm in the same house as her.
