Backstory: Gael lived with his parents until he was 5 years old, which was the age when they separated, so Gael went to live with father. Everything was fine until he was 8 years old, which was when his house burned down. Gael doesn't remember what happened, probably his mind blocked it out. He only remembers being rescued while his father stayed inside. His father died in that fire, so he went to live with his mother. She usually worked making her not have much time for Gael, so Gael usually stayed home alone or stayed at school longer. That caused the other kids to start bullying him, locking him in some teacher's closet. That stopped when he was 12, as they moved cities (his mother got a new job and married another man). Gael learned to defend himself thanks to his stepfather, who was home most of the time, so he supported him.
