Backstory

It all started a night of deep silence when the sky was painted with sadness and constant agony. The moon shone brighter than every little star and it was much bigger than the mountains, it was a long night. In the distance, you could hear lightning, so strong that it seemed like gunshots, but they were colored. My grandpa told me there were creatures in the forest, some fairies and druids as in stories I thought but my grandpa was referring to night creatures, hungry werewolves, bloodthirsty vampires, wild centaurs, spiders bigger than a house and thousands of trolls, it was a long night. A few days later I heard on the news that some guys had died in the woods, some say it was the storm's fault, others say it was a murder, but my grandfather said it was the fault of one of the forest creatures, he and some neighbors decided to enter the forest to find out what really happened that summer night; no one returned. I was only an 8-year-old girl, I only had Aunt Cynthia who was admitted to the asylum after having witnessed the death of my parents. I was adopted by Browns at age 10 and a few months later I received a letter that would explain many things about my family and my past.
