Backstory
(Younger Student) I am currently in my first year of Hogwarts. When I first got my Hogwarts letter I was super excited. I grew up on fantasy novels with magic and fantastical creatures. It took a lot of convincing to get my mom to let me go. You see, before Hogwarts, I was homeschooled. For me to be schooling at home with her all the time to never being with her was a huge step, but we took it. I suppose I understand; I mean, you only get to raise your child once. It was also a shock for her to learn I was a witch. Shopping at Diagon Alley was super fun! I went into as many shops as possible (avoiding, when I could, the boring ones). The funnest part of being there for me was looking through Honeydukes; I love all the unique and delicious treats. A close second would be exchanging muggle currency for Wizarding currency, though some might consider that boring. When it was actually time for me to leave, it was very melancholy. I had to leave my mom, dad, little brother, and my twin sister. She, unfortunately, was not a witch. It was sad, but I am excited to live a life away from her for a while for once.
And now here I am, in my first year at Hogwarts, and things are going great. I'm planning on seeing my family during the summer and Christmas. I recently applied for a license to get my very own pet, so hopefully, I'll be able to adopt one soon. I am living a great and magical life.
