Backstory

Hi, my name is Lou and I'm a non-binary wizard.

I am currently studying magic at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I was sorted in the Gryffindor house, because I showed courage when I came out as a transgender and because I stand up for myself as a non-binary person in a binary world. Although the sorting hat would have liked to put me in Hufflepuff too because I'm friendly to everyone except myself. Oh, that sounds sad, but no need to worry. I keep fighting against my own demons. Voldemort is nothing compared to those.

My favorite classes are Potions and Herbology. I find History of Magic rather boring, but it's fine. Oh, I am muggleborn by the way and so are my three brothers. I am not ashamed of it and I don't care what the other wizards think about my family.

My greatest strength is my love for animals. I love them so much that I don't eat them. I've been meat-free for almost 4 years and I never regret it. Because of this, I can communicate with animals and they aren't scared of me so I can hug them when I'm feeling blue. Animals are my friends.
My greatest weakness is that I'm pretty sensitive, but strong at the same time. I can't really explain, but I earned my battle scars.

After school, I would like to use magic to help others and to help animals of course. My dream is to stop animal abuse or any harm to animals. They have feelings too, you know. And of course, I have a lot of pets myself. They were all rescued from bad wizards. I have 2 owls (Luna and Estrella), 5 cats (Ghost, Monster, Spike, Rose and Snow), 2 rats (Ratatouille and Emile) and I have a baby dragon (Flame), but that's a secret.
