Backstory

When I applied to the exchange program, I was happy to experience any other wizarding school, but I admit that I had hoped that I would be chosen to visit Hogwarts especially. Knowing Harry's story as we all do, I feel like I already know the castle and grounds personally and can’t wait to explore them! I think it’s really important for magical communities around the world to understand and support each other and hope to work in International Magical Cooperation one day. At Uagadou we don't use wands, but I am fascinated by them and hope that the time I spend at Hogwarts will help me better understand how their magic works. Because I've never used a wand, I am so grateful to be starting with the other first years. I am passionate about magizoology and herbology especially, so being able to meet some new and endemic Scottish species is very exciting. It would be a dream come true to be able to sight the world's largest kelpie at Loch Ness. At Uagadou we are all taught self-transfiguration and many of us are animagi. I am in the process of registering with the Ministry for Magic’s Animagus Registry, but I felt it was the decent thing to let everyone know that my animagus is a flying fox and you can clearly see rings around my eyes where my glasses would be. Although a huge bat can seem scary, I am very friendly in this form and you needn’t be alarmed - I am more likely to bring you fruit than suck your blood. As long as you're nice.
