B A C K S T O R Y

Heaven Black is the daughter of Regulus Black. She has descended from a long line of wizards, but she is not the type to judge someone based on their bloodline. Before her father's death, Regulus had fallen in love. He made very sure to keep his relationship a secret. He knew his mother and father would be shocked to hear he had gotten her knocked up before a marriage had taken place. When Regulus had found out he was having a child, he decided to turn against He Who Shall Not Be Named and try and destroy one of his horcrux. This resulted in her father's death at the low age of 18.

Heaven never had the chance to meet her father, but she has a deep bond with him that her mother could never understand. Heaven had a quiet upbringing in a small village. Her mother told her stories about her father and his family, but made it quite clear that she was never to seek out her paternal grandparents. At the age of 9, Heaven's mother had been killed in a freak car accident. There was nothing the muggle's could do to save her.

Heaven spent the two years before attending Hogwarts on her own. She had run away from the group home she had been put in, and was living deep inside the forrest near where she grew up. She was very surprised to have received her Hogwarts letter all the way out in the middle of nowhere. It was addressed:
