Backstory

Hi! My name is Emilia. I am a fourteen year old girl who was born and raised by muggles. I've loved every second of the years I've spent at Hogwarts. The magic, my awesome friends and all the cool teachers, it's just incredible. Even though I have a fantastic family, I always miss my school during summer breaks. I remember when I first was accepted into Hogwarts. I had no idea what it was and everything was so confusing. At first, my parents thought it was some kind of prank, so we just threw the letter away. Some days later, a new letter arrived and this time my parents actually read through the whole thing. They were not convinced. Who would be? Noone believes magic exists. But I did. At least I hoped it existed. After a lot of arguing, my family finally decided to show up on Kings Cross the first september, and I ran into my childhood friend Ingrid. A year ago, she had disapeared away to a mysterious boarding school and she never told me about where it was or why she was there. Nevertheless, on Kings Cross that september morning three years ago, she told me everything. About Hogwarts. About the letter that I held in my hand. My parents still didn't believe it, but when Ingrids parents told them that Ingrid was telling the truth, they finally understood. Ingrid showed me the way to the station, through a brickwall, and there I saw the Hogwarts Express for the first time. I remember thinking that it was the best day of my life. And maybe it was, at least on of the best. Since then, I've been attending Hogwarts every year. I'm a Hufflepuff student and I have many friends in my house, but my all time best friend is still Ingrid, even though she's a year older and in Ravenclaw.
