Backstory

(Younger Student) when my letter came I wasn’t too surprise, my mother was a witch, before she died (she was an auror) she told me stories about the wizard if world. She left me in the care of my older sister (16). My older sister was a muggle, because our dad was a muggle (he left for milk on day and... you know the story). At first, though, my sister refused to take me to diagonal ally. So I, as I ALWAYS get my way, decided I would force her to take me. I tricked her into driving me into downtown London for a “muggle shopping trip”. then when I got out of the car, I DASHED for the Leaky Cauldron. When she caught up to me, it was to late— I had gotten into the pub. She eventually let me go. Heh. I KNEW I would get my way. I ALWAYS. GOT. MY. WAY. We got my supplies and everything, and as we passed the pet shop I stopped her and said: If I’m gonna be a mage (gender neutral term for a witch or wizard) I need a cat! She let me go in. I guess she knew she couldn’t argue with me. I decided on a black cat with ebony fur. I was all set to be a mage....
