Backstory

i was born into a pure-blooded family of all Ravenclaws and grew up around books. when my Hogwarts letter my whole family started celebrating and told me no matter what house i got into they would still love and support me even if i became a gryfinndor. as soon as we got the letter we went to go and get my supplies. my parents went to go get my books while they sent me to go get a pet of my choice. i walked into the pet store and found myself being drawn to a unhatched egg. the person who worked there came over to me and said it was a phoenix egg but he didn't know what kind of phoenix it was. i asked the worker if i could get the phoenix egg and he grabbed the egg and took it to the counter so i could buy it. i got the phoenix egg and everything i would need. as soon as that was done i headed over the ge my wand where me and my parents met. i ended up getting a vine wood wand with a dragon heartstring core, it was 12 3/4" and had unyielding flexibility. after we got every we went home and a couple days later the egg hatched and i had myself a light phoenix. fast forward to when i got sorted, i was put into hufflepuff and i immediately told my parents, while they were sad i wasn't in ravenclaw they were happy i got put into hufflepuff as it did fit me. i am already enrolled in all my classes and am ready to start school. so hi my name is rowan pendrake and i am hufflepuff who loves to read.
