Jillian Owens

Backstory

My name is Jillian Owens. I come from a magical family going back many centuries. My parents died because of a family curse when I was very young and my sister Sally and I went to live in a beautiful house with our two Aunts. The Aunt’s practiced magic mainly with potions and made them for muggles in our town to help them with their love lives, their confidence and other problems they were having. The muggles looked to the Aunt’s mostly for fun and most didn’t believe the were truly witches. The Aunts have helped Sally and I look within ourselves to discover our gifts and instructed us in potions and a small bit of casting.

My sister Sally is much more gifted in potions and casting then I am and I have come to Hogwarts to improve my skills and discover the gifts that I have been given. I would love to learn more about my past and maybe find a way to break the curse that has plagued my family since our ancestor Maria cast it. The curse is that any man who loves an Owens woman is doomed to die. I can’t wait to fall in love and I’m afraid when I do it will end in tragedy. My family is a little nervous about casting due to the curse so I would love to learn and show them that there is a responsible way to cast for good and maybe a way to reverse it. I can’t wait to learn everything I can here and am looking forward to the challenge.
