Backstory

(Younger Student) When I received my Hogwarts Letter that faithful day, I didn’t know what it would mean. At first I thought it was just a joke, right? My brother sometimes played pranks on me, or blamed me when some weird stuff happened around the house. How was I supposed to know that books didn'tgo flying towards anyone who wanted them, and that forks and hankercheifs couldn't fly across the room? Anyways, my parents were going to go shopping in London anyway and they figured they would listen to the headmaster of Hogwarts - give them a reason to tease me about the rest of my life.. Boy, the look on their face when we stopped by the Dryen Dareres pub and the sign said “The Leaky Cauldron” instead! The innkeeper was an odd but friendly man, and there were some people to help show us around. They all told me I was a muggleborn, a witch born with non-magical parents. The coolest part of Diagon Alley was picking up my wand. Mr Ollivanders said that my wand core is very rare, and my books are really interesting. I might finish them all before we even get to Hogwarts! I really hope I'm in Ravenclaw, but Gryffindor would suit me too!
