Backstory
Okay, how to start this? Well, obviously with my name, duh. Well, my name is Justice Keys, and I am 14 years old. Although I am technically a third year, I enrolled late and am starting at first. I am also a Hufflepuff! I enjoy reading, drawing and am hoping to try out for Quidditch soon! Though whether I'll be a chaser or a beater, I haven't decided yet. The one thing I hope to learn most about at Hogwarts is Care of Magical Creatures, with some Astrology on the side. While I certainly find the mystique of reading the stars appealing, animals stand out to me like nothing has before. I have grown up around many different animals, and am excited to learn about more!Let's talk about my family. I have 4 brothers, and one step-sister. The youngest brother is 4, and while he isn't old enough for us to know if he is magical, I'd put money on him being a Gryffindor. He is incredibly stubborn, and bargains with my mum ALL THE TIME to get stuff he wants, but my mum almost always puts her foot down before he can go too far. My twin brother and older brother (16) are both Slytherins, and we believe my step-sister will be Slytherin, too! The eldest, however, is a muggle. Both of my parents are muggles, as is my stepfather. So, we are often bombarded with questions about the wizarding world!
Alongside the 6 (sometimes 7) people in the house, we also have a lot of pets! We have two rabbits, two dogs and a cat! The two rabbits are named Fidget and Loki! Fidget is female, and is a mini lopeared! We've had her ever since she was a baby, and have had her for 2 years! She is extremely friendly, but she can and will bite your sleeve if you don't give her attention. On the other hand, we got Loki a month ago. I am not too sure on his breed, but we do know that he is a crossbreed! He is extremely skittish, and it takes all of us staying still and quiet for him to feel safe outside of his cage! I do feel that we are making progress with him, though.
Mia and Oscar are our precious Dogs, and they've been in our family since I was about 4. Mia has a very loud bark, but is really just a huge softie. She'll try and jump up on the sofa (which she knows she's not allowed on!!) Just to give you some cuddles. Oscar, on the other hand, is a timid oldie. He's quite chubby, but that just makes him easier to cuddle!! He's not nearly as assertive as Mia, but WILL turn those puppy dog eyes on you if you stop petting him.
Amy is our bratty catty. She is a tuxedo cat, and we've had her since I was about 9. She is very flippant, and will often turn her nose up at her food because it's "not good enough!". She does, however, love to use me as her personal heating pad/cat bed. She'll come in, lay down on me, and then pretty much tether me to that spot for the entire time she sleeps! I can't move a sleeping cat, it's law!
Our household is very big, but it means that I can care even better for my big family here at Hogwarts!! If you made it this far, I commend you, brave warrior. I've only just realised I didn't talk about myself very much, but maybe you can find that out yourself by chatting with me!! Thank you for trawling through 4 paragraphs about me and my large family!!!
