Backstory

Name: Marie Bellemont

The Bellemont family resided in Bordeaux, France, before their home tragically was burnt to the ground. After the fire, Marie's parents moved to a poor area of London in order to maintain a steady job and household. This was a bold contrast to what the family was used to, as they were a generally wealthy family back in Bordeaux. Shortly after moving, Marie was born: on Valentine's Day of all days. Although she was born in London, she grew up in a French household, resulting in her having a thick French accent. She was living in her two-bedroom flat with a family of six when she had received her admission letter to Hogwarts. This was no shock as her entire family has a line of magic, but she was still ecstatic to be able to leave the family home.
