Backstory

A woman framed me as the culprit of a terrible incident in which a child was killed. I was let go of my post as an auror and was accused of possible murder. Eventually, I was able to secure my innocence, but the women in question was let go without so much as a night in Azkaban. She was terribly well connected and merely laughed when the council insinuated that there would be consequences. Exile was immediately imposed on me so as to avoid scandal and subsequent concerns from the wizarding community.
After some number of years, I have returned to the UK under a name that is not my own. A lucrative job has me touring the nation. For you see, I currently make my living by assisting muggles with any sort of inconveniance that might pop up in their otherwise mundane lives. And now they have beseeched me to ensure the limitations of several of their mischievous deeds. If only I could take advantage of my hidden existence whilst I'm here. It is dreadfully vexing to not be able to extract the pure vengance that my soul desperately wants. Alas, all I can do is long for serendipity to rear its tricky head.
