Backstory

I'm in my first year in Hogwarts. I've been sorted into Slytherin but mainly because I wished to. In fact, I was a hatstall.. According to the sorting hat, I would be as much a Slytherin as a Ravenclaw and I'm a bit of Hufflepuff and Gryffindor as well... Quite a mess indeed. Spent five minutes discuting it with the sorting hat in front of the whole school so people consider me as part of no house now. The positive thing is I make friends in every house now… Or maybe is it because I’m a half-veela by my mum? My dad was a wizard. To be honest, I never expected to make friends, I didn’t plan to. I came here to study and know as much as I can about magic. I’m a very curious and lonely witch. On my free time, I like reading about the wizarding world by the Black Lake or in the room of requirement, looking for rare magical artefacts. I always had a fascination for this place and the merpeople living in it but I don’t think Care of Magical Creatures will be my favorite class. I prefer classes involving use of our wands like Charms or even Defence Against the Dark Arts (when the teacher of the year isn’t only teaching about the theory of it exclusively of course). I also love Astronomy very much. Don’t misunderstand me, I love going to every class. I’m just enjoying some more than others… My curiosity doesn’t make me good at everything neither… Even though many of our House head teachers were teaching Potions, I’m not good at it. But this isn’t a big deal as I don’t think I’ll use it in the future. I like all kinds of divinations and spells so I’ll more likely become a searcher in spells or an astronomy/divination teacher. I love how magic can be created out of nowhere. I want to know where it comes from and what makes a thing or a person magical. I don’t have any pet. I’d like to but I’m often so focused on my studies and researches that I forget to eat so I don’t want to make a pet unhappy. Oh... My name's Rose. Rose Orion...
